Hi I have UE Super fi pro. The cable jacket is clear. I see the cable inside clear jacket near the earphone turning green! Does it happen to you? I believe that UE is well-known but how can it happen to me? Is there anyway to fix it? otherwise i need to order another pair of replacement cable...

I've been using amp+DAC , but am not quite clear how this thing works when i connect the amp to the laptop through USB cable. Is it correct that signal bypasses the internal soundboard and goes through the external DAC? In that case, why not using something like this Creative ExpressCard Sound...

if you rip CD using EAC. I can't tell the difference between WAV (using EAC) and AIFF (using Itunes) THe reason i use AIFF because i like the album art in my Ipod classic...it's cool to me

Sorry to steal this thread but have Go-Vibe Petite and Suprer fi 5 pro and i have question: Should I lower the gain setting (default now is 9) on Go-vibe? UE Super Fi5 Pro has impedance of 21 ohm . When turn volumn jsut to 8 o'clock, it's already too loud and hurt my ears thanks.
