B&W MM-1 vs Sonos PLAY:1
I am looking into buying speakers for my desk in my dorm room. I wound up my choices to B&W MM-1 or 2x Sonos PLAY:1 (for stereo configuration) because they have a great price point for great sound quality. I am leaning more towards Sonos but would gladly hear your feedback regarding which pair...- messi

Review by 'messi' on item 'Sennheiser MOMENTUM'
These are my first pair of over-ear headphones (I have owned several earphones) and I am amazed by everything on these. Prior to purchasing them, I was looking for quality sound and stylish headphones and would rather have sound over style. I wanted headphones that aren't too hard on the bass...- messi

ATH-M50x vs AKG K545 vs Sennheiser Momentum
First impressions matter: packaging is wonderful and it felt amazing opening the carrying case to take out the headphones. Also, they sound very nice with the genres I listen - hip-hop/rap, house, and trap. I don't need an EQ to adjust the bass or anything else.- messi

Got the Momentums today. Amazing sound quality. Perfect bass and the highs, mids and lows are 5-star. Comfort is 6/5 especially because my ears are a perfect fit. Build quality is 6/5 as well, love the leather and aluminium touches. Very highly recommended headphones! Thank you so much Billson...- messi

ATH-M50x vs AKG K545 vs Sennheiser Momentum
Tried the Momentums at the store today and found the sound to be very clear and soundstage is wonderful, though the bass was not overwhelming. Never wanted bass to be my priority anyways, so I just adjusted the bass via the EQ and it sounded perfect. Snatched them for $302 in my local Online...- messi

ATH-M50x vs AKG K545 vs Sennheiser Momentum
Well I don't like the plastic look of the AH D600 so I think I'll just go for the Over Ear Momentums and will in fact purchase them today from my local Online Apple Store for almost the same price as the US plus free shipping, and products here are usually more expensive than the US. Love the...- messi

ATH-M50x vs AKG K545 vs Sennheiser Momentum
I want to listen to whatever I want comfortably. Do not want to raise full volume and mess up my eardrum (depends on earphones, most of the times not), but I want to listen medium volume to loud. That is why sound isolation is important.- messi

ATH-M50x vs AKG K545 vs Sennheiser Momentum
I definitely can afford the Momentum over-ear so I think I'll go for that instead of ATH-M50x, main reason being the bass as you described it, plus the beautiful retro-style looks of the Momentums compared the M50s. Want to be future proof and that is why I am going with the over-ear, you never...- messi

ATH-M50x vs AKG K545 vs Sennheiser Momentum
Hi Billson, From what I've read, difference in bass isn't overwhelming between the M50s and Momentums so way pay the overwhelming price for not-so-overwhelming momentum? (no pun intended) Apologies, I misread the "Nonstandard Battery" on AH-D600's Amazon page. I honestly doubt I'll...- messi

ATH-M50x vs AKG K545 vs Sennheiser Momentum
Yes, I believe the price of the Momentums is indeed steep for headphones that aren't far more superior in sound to the M50s. Although the Shure SRH840 headphones look like they may be better than the M50s, the 1.8lb weight is way too much. I might consider moving them around so I did...- messi

ATH-M50x vs AKG K545 vs Sennheiser Momentum
Although they are perfect earphones, I'm looking for over-ear headphones which are far more superior in comfortably as my current in-ear headphones keep falling off my ears (without moving). Don't mind the fatiguing of the highs for the M50x. From what I read online and what someone told me, the...- messi

ATH-M50x vs AKG K545 vs Sennheiser Momentum
I feel the Momentums won't do great with the bass as someone else told me. They don't look like headphones which are made for music, and I'm not really looking for bass-heavy headphones and would rather have neutral sound with excellent highs and lows rather than bass-boosted headphones. I have...- messi

ATH-M50x vs AKG K545 vs Sennheiser Momentum
Hello, I'm looking for quality sound and stylish headphones and would rather have sound over style, and it's good to note that I haven't owned over-ear headphones before. I want headphones that aren't too hard on the bass and would like the bass to be above average (not exaggerated), plus...- messi
