Was thinking about the DAC1 USB... thoughts?

That's what I've read, so that's why I was asking about solid state. I guess not too many people on here have that setup?

I'm just not sure tubes or tube-sounding (yulong) is for me? I really want as crisp a sound as possible. 

I just see really glowing reviews in the ~2k range for a lot of setups. The only reason I'm trying to steer clear of tubes is just that I don't really want to deal replacing them and break/warm up, etc. I'm open to any suggestions. I was actually expecting a flood of responses. Is this not a...
