If you go for the hfi-780 you really should consider recabling because the stock cable is crap. I just did it with some blue dragon cable and it sounds AWESOOOOOOOOOME !!

The thing is I don't need it to be portable. I just want ( of course ) the best i can get in this price range and I don't know how portable and full size amps compare since i do not have any experience with any kind of amp. I was also considering the minibox E+ but though it wasn't available...

I may go for some DT770 in about half a year. With this perspective, wouldn't I be better off going for the mini millet or the MKII instead of a portable amp ?
