Kind of a funny question, but has anyone driven the Either-C using the Fiio X7 alone? Also how does it sound the K5? I do realize the AM1 isn't the best module for driving orthos but just curious if it does at least an okay job of it.

Has anyone tried the Mr.Speakers Either-C with the X7 or K5 combo? Curious how the AM1 module drives it... obviously not the best choice but the AM2 isn't widely available yet

Yeah definitely looking forward to it. Your impressions helped seal the deal for me, along with Drew's reasonable pricing.   Some these Layla cables are the price of getting a JH Rosie as a 2nd IEM.   I will try not to hype these up
