Selecting your first turntable setup - Get the biggest bang for your buck - Keep it under $2000
Got it for my parents, so when I'll visit them, I'll make some pics. As far as sound goes, it's pretty terrible :). It needs 78 rpm records, but thankfully it came with one. A lot of static and background noise.- lup31337

Selecting your first turntable setup - Get the biggest bang for your buck - Keep it under $2000
Always thought about getting a vinyl rig myself but I don't think I can live with the hassle. Digital is just so much more convenient. Although I got this gramophone recently. My first turntable :) . Just kidding ... not really playing anything on it, only got it for the looks. Maybe I should...- lup31337

Best headphones for a certain type of music
I have a big head and I forget I'm wearing my HD650. I find them to be one of the most comfortable headphones out there. And I didn't do any bending.- lup31337

Best headphones for a certain type of music
I would go for HD800. Great soundstage and microscopic level of details :) . Not so much on the low bass though.- lup31337

Budget Laptop
You should probably wait for the new broadwell chips from intel to be completely out. I say completely, because there are a few laptops that use their chips but are very expensive. Just wait a few months and search for laptops with Core M processors. They are basically the same performance as...- lup31337

Xonar essence one
I change the first 4 op amps with OPA-2132 and no change at first. But like you guys said it starting to get warm sounding. I don't know if it really starting to sound different (I don't believe in electronic parts burn-in) or is it just my ears getting used to the new sound. Anyway, I think I'm...- lup31337

Help me chose my cans
At them moment I'm using HD650. I find them bright sounding and I don't like that. I'm using EQ to tame them down (1 khz till 14 khz is - 3db). It's paired with a cheap chinese DAC and little dot MK V. Moving on ... : I sold my Little dot amp and cheap dac and bought an Xonar essence one. The...- lup31337

Xonar essence one
Just bought an E1 and i dunno ... it doesn't pair up well with my headphones. When i read reviews it said that it will sound bassy and laid back. But in fact it sounds very bright. Very harsh on the mid - high freq . What am i doing wrong ?- lup31337

New Monster headphones: First Impressions
That Diesel Vektr looks so new age. It would go well visually with a HTC diamond phone (although i guess no one uses such a phone nowadays )- lup31337

good noise cancelling headphones?
Well depends how much noise cancellation u need. Are u willing to go with active noise cancellation ? It's very effective but it uses batteries and it's does add a little bit of noise that is audible in silent passages and when tracks change.- lup31337
