The iBasso DX50 Thread - Latest firmware: 1.9.5 - June 30, 2016
Well thank god we have a forum and we don't just have to rely on iBasso for support. Anyway, I managed to get it working. I went into browse directory, selected the player and then selected USB OTG. I have reverted back to stock firmware for now but going to try Rockbox soon.- LondonHiFi

The iBasso DX50 Thread - Latest firmware: 1.9.5 - June 30, 2016
Yes, I know . The player is on, but instead of going into USB mode it just stays in player mode. I can also see the battery icon change to charging so the cable is definitely connected.- LondonHiFi

The iBasso DX50 Thread - Latest firmware: 1.9.5 - June 30, 2016
I've bought a DX50 and loaded one of the custom firmwares last night and now I can't get USB mode! When I plug in the USB cable, the player charges ok but I can't transfer any music now. Prior to updating the firmware, I was able to transfer fine so the cable and laptop are not the issue. ...- LondonHiFi

Official Ipod Video / Classic 5g+5.5g+6g+6.5g+7g SSD Mod thread
There is a 5.5G 30GB iPod Video (late 2006). I have bought a 128GB CF and a Tarkan adapter since they are reported to work with 5.5/6/7G iPod's. I will test it with them all and see what works and what doesn't.- LondonHiFi

Starting to make sense now. 5.5G 80GB - any hd/ssd/msata/cf upgrade (with relevant adapters) 5.5G 30GB - same as above? 6.5G 120GB - only like for like upgrade 7G 160GB - only 240GB upgrade (with new back and batt)- LondonHiFi

Thanks guys, so I'll stick with the 80GB back since I want the bigger battery. A 128GB CF/ZIF adapter will cost me £102, a 128GB SSD will cost me £125. Since it is a small difference, cost aside what would you go for?- LondonHiFi

Official Ipod Video / Classic 5g+5.5g+6g+6.5g+7g SSD Mod thread
Been trying to get my head around the information that's been posted so far. I have a 5.5G 80GB, a 6G 120GB and a 7G 160GB. From what I have read I can upgrade the 5.5G with a 128GB SuperTalent SSD. Would it be a direct replacement without any adapters? Can I fit a 30GB back instead of the...- LondonHiFi

Mystery Unclosed: Modern Closed Headphones Compared + Sennheiser HD598 UPDATE: PSB M4U2 Added 7/5/13
Just read the review and I agree with the MDR-1R vs Momentum comparison. Both great headphones but the MDR-1R edged it for me. Can't comment on the others as I've no experience of them.- LondonHiFi

What beats Sony MDR-1R?
Great price for a very capable pair of headphones. Don't knock 'em until you've tried them! :)- LondonHiFi

Sennheiser MOMENTUM Review
They are very comfortable for long periods if your ears aren't too big. Otherwise they rest on your ears and can get a little uncomfortable... well for me at least. I would easily go couple of hours before I started fiddling with position to ease the discomfort.- LondonHiFi

Sony has new headphones, MDR-1R
I got mine last night so I took them with me on my journey to work this morning. First impressions are good. Very comfortable, good sound out of the box and no jack issues mentioned by others. The MDR-1R's are slight bass heavy but this is easily cured using one of the EQ presets on my iPod...- LondonHiFi
