AKG K550 vs BEYER T70 vs SHURE SRH940

First Impressions of the new Beyerdynamic T70p
Spent about an hour doing a comparison of the Shure 940 and the T70p models. Similar sounding phones, exept for a wider soundstage and somewhat better resolution on the T70, and a sound resembling sibilance in the treble area of the SRH940. Hear more of the midrange you mean, because that and a bass hump that make the 770's sound modest is what the cheapo shures are all about. Sorry about your damaged hearing though, frenchie. Too much cheese, no?- Lilac1

Well thanks for the insight mr. shure dealer. I just got my 440's this friday after demoing them, and this exaggerated midrange is just making met feel sorry for you and your obviously damaged hearing. You should see a doctor before writing any more "reviews"- Lilac1

This is the most words I've seen someone put down about being objectively wrong. The shure srh 240/440 phones are equally horrible, exaggarated things for people who enjoy messing with software equalizers.- Lilac1
