The printed wood looks nice no worries. The bass is awesome they have plenty of high quality bass the shockwave is no shy in bass but the dc8 have more mid bass and more impact everywhere, you don't need an amp to bring the bass with the dc8 so for me dc8 is better.

finally received hisenior dc8 8 ba drivers from china it cost me 288 euros and it blows the shockwave iii ear kegs if anyone interested.

Treble issues went when I changed the stock cable for the fiio cable . I think is the silver cable which make these iems a tad bright and thin so I recommend to purchase the removable cable version because I'm having no issues with them. Now I'm using the ibasso d14 with my phone and the fioo...

to me something was missing with the silver cable call it too bright or thin sometimes now these are amazing straight out any source

As I thought the keggers sound much better with fiio cable than with the stock. More body, impact sound is fuller and treble is awesome a bit tamed but extended and bright. these don't sound thin anymore.
