NAD C541i or Denon UD-M30 + Art DIO

Quote: I'd be weary as to whether or not the supplied image is accurate. All of the Denon UD-M30's destined for Australia come with Denon manufactured speakers, not the Mission speakers. The picture that they have is from the Denon International website. The speakers are Mission. I...

Hi artmusic247 Quote: I had the same problem. What I did was put shrinkwrap around the power jack Sounds like a great idea Over the weekend I managed to track down some insulated RCA sockets but was still scratching my head about the other sockets. Thanks again KrunchyK

    Metal Case Problem

Hi Everyone, I made a cmoy a few months ago and originally put it in a plastic case but on the weekend I found a nice metal case to put it in. The problem now is that I'm getting a ground loop since the RCAs and the power connector are not insulated. One solution I can think of is to...

    Apature Accusound Silver BL-4 interconnects

Hi CTN, I know that you are chasing short interconnects ... have you considered Tara Labs?? I know that they come in 0.6, 1 and 2m lenghts. They might prove to be the step up from the Jaycar stuff. Cya, Krunchy.

    cmoy amp and potentiometers (newbie)

Quote: You don't really need the input cap. (The .1uf) I have removed these from all my amps with great results. Almost every source available today does not have DC in the output which is what this cap is for. The amp sounds better without it. Hi Dan, Forgive me for stating the...

    cmoy parts

Hi, To be honest I just followed Chu's article over at Headwize but added a pot for volume control. I built mine back around Christmas, so some of the details are a little fuzzy now The parts you need shouldn't be too hard to track down. The staff at Jaycar are usually quite helpful...
