I was thinking maybe something like a small clay ball/paste that I could put on the tip of the broken price so I could slide it in and have it harden around the broken tip. I think liquid would be too dangerous/unreliable. Is there such a thing to use?

Well, I emailed hi-fi man and they're going to send me a new cable supposedly. Does anyone have any idea how to remove the tip of the quarter inch jack from my amplifier?

What is the best way to make sure the leads are connected? The hole in the headphones is a bit recessed so it's hard to tighten them just by turning the screw part. What I do is turn the screw as much as I can, then turn the metal piece directly underneath, this has given me a good tight fit but...

The washer is recessed in the headphone itself so it's hard to tighten. I usually tighten it as much as I can, than physically turn the metal piece directly underneath to make it snug. Is this the correct way? Thanks in advance.
