Yeah, I normally do not care about burn-in either, but something has changed that is for sure :-)- klo

Maybe not directly harsh in the big sense, but there was definately a difference in the treble and bass making me prefer the burnt-in ones :) Testing was done w/o filters.- klo

AEON, MrSpeakers' New Closed Back Planar Magnetic Headphone
There is definitely a big difference after burn in. I have tried a new pair side by side with my burnt in pair multiple times. The new pair sounded a little harsh and even a tad bit louder in volume at the same setting (could be driver match difference?). The burnt in pair was more even, had a...- klo

Yeah, the noise is there from around 30-40hz to 70-80hz in that video. Altough not as pronounced as in the bass shaker. I guess i will ask for a 4th pair. I really like the AFC, but will not accept this rattle problem. Maybe i will ask the dealer to test them before shipping them this time.- klo

I am actually on my third pair of AFC headphones now, so I am confident it is the headphones and not my source/amp. I have tried with among other stuff: iFi BL, Magni3/Mimby. The problem is only on one of the channels and is still on the same cup if i change the cables around. The first was...- klo

REVIEW HIFIMAN HE500 A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
I recieved the HE-500 the other day.. and while I do not have much experience in headphones other than my DT770Pro... The HE-500 are just on a so different level, just amazing, wow. I just can't wait to listen more to them. Even with my budget amp they are great compared to what I am used to...- klo

REVIEW HIFIMAN HE500 A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
Any suggestions for an amp? I currently have an Argon HA1 (Pretty much the same as Firestone Cute Beyond as far as I know), do you think it will do a decent job?- klo
