    So just saw on amazon (us) that the hd650's are $470 with a free $50 amazon gift card... making them $420.

    I have the asgard and dt880/600. They can be had for about half of the 650's cost... And I think they sound great, but I don't think you will be upset with the sennheiser's either

    Will post tomorrow as I am not where the schiit is at. @kojaku Its my bifrost that is a slightly differebt color. Just cosmetic I know but I was curious.

    Just curious - are your asgard and bifrost color matched? As in the same shade of metal? Mine don't seem to match at all and I was wondering if this was normal.

    Nice combo indeed! I also enjoyed the woo audio stand - guess I have the same taste as rmappita who posted above. Very happy with the asgard/bifrost/dt880 600ohm combo i am running. Been about a week now.

    Just picked up some DT 880/600 and am loving them so far. Waiting for my schiit amp and dac  to come in - should be thursday but who knows with the storm.

    Actually wrote the schiit guys and they said the Asgard would be fine as long as your pre amp is at least 2V ... Said they run 600ohm cans from the Asgard all the time (?)
