I've replaced my cable a couple of times, they use the same 2-pin connector that's common on UE/Westone/loads of others :)

  Yea man the fit is great, and so isolation is really really good. The audiologist I used took fantastic impressions which must've helped.    In our busy office with talking and music and phone calls going on, i can only hear the slightest murmer of conversation. With music playing? Nothing...

  I'm coming from the LCD-X.    Cost-wise: all up including impressions, shipping and the Merlins it was about $1100 NZD (~$950 USD). So, about half the cost of the LCD-X.    I'd like to preamble this by saying I don't consider myself experienced enough to give a truly objective review...

  I can however answer this one!    The construction is great except for the cap (but the cap isn't that important tbh...). It's nice and robust. There's no play in the port, body or jack and the metal casing is all cut from a single piece.   If you're just connecting via a 3.5mm it's not...
