    Official HF-2 Serial Number List

Just happened across this thread. I'm the original owner of #321...still my favorite pair of headphones!   Edited to add: ordered 6/9/2009, received 8/20/2009.

Battle Of The Flagships (58 Headphones Compared)

I've been away from this wonderful hobby for a few years now. Partially, it's because I had my own "R10 moment". For me, it was the Grado HF-2. It makes music simply alive.   This monumental review was an absolute pleasure to read, and rekindled my interest in the current state of the...

    Announcing HeadRoom's All-New Website

First let me say - this is a nice looking site. The front page is a solid launchpad and the overall feel is modern. I appreciate the driving motivation behind the redesign. Appealing to the general masses is a simple business decision, and a sane one - no argument here over moves like...

    The Grado HF-2 Review/Comparison Thread

Got my HF-2 yesterday - here are some quick impressions. Clearly shares DNA with the HF-1, and clearly an improvement in sound. Bass is mighty powerful, but not tight. I expect this to improve with burn-in. Best "verve" I've heard. Rock sounds like a dream. Perhaps...

    HF-2 update

#5898 received yesterday. Hold on, you won't be disappointed! I recommend neutral solid-state amps with beefy output stages.

New Canon G11 reduces resolution from 14.7 to 10 megapixel.

Very nice! Looks to be a solid alternative to the Panasonic LX3 for those who prefer the extra zoom to the LX3's shorter-range but much faster lens (assuming all else being roughly equal).

    Palm-Pre-Fi

It look me a little while to get into the spirit of things with the UI. It's very different than anything else out there. But that's the point! Once you embrace it and get used to it, you'll find yourself wanting to flick things around on your laptop. I swear, I unconsciously started making a...

Who Here is Tempted by The New Olympus E-P1 Micro 4/3 Camera?

The E-P1 is flawed, but amazing. I've been waiting for a reasonably portable "system" camera for quite awhile, but I just can't pull the trigger on this..No built-in flash (for simple fill flash usage) Low-res LCD Boutique price tag That said, this camera is AMAZING as a first go at a new...

    Palm-Pre-Fi

There's a patch available that improves the music player? I was disappointed to find no means to drag a slider to a specific point in a song - only FF/RW buttons.

    Palm-Pre-Fi

Nice read beerguy0, thanks! Looks like they didn't cut any corners, there's some solid hardware in there. I've rooted my Pre, and am having fun playing around with it (not for the faint of heart!). SSH daemon works great. Now if only I can find a way to make the Pre an SSH client...
