Do you think it is worth buying a GS1000i while you aleady have Ps1000 and Rs1i?
I'll second what was said about the ps1000s weight. It doesn't bother me that much, but it is a factor, and they will slip off when I tilt my head. If the LCD-2 was too heavy for you then the ps1000 will probably be as well.- jjhatfield

Do you think it is worth buying a GS1000i while you aleady have Ps1000 and Rs1i?
Quote: if you already have the PS1000 I don't think there is any reason to own the GS1000i aside from curiosity. I've owned a couple different GS1000s (recabled and stock cable), and while I enjoyed them, the PS1000 fixes every thing lacking in the GS1000 and keeps every thing good. The...- jjhatfield

"Bruno": Good or bad?
I'll be the contrary one and say it was wonderful, maybe even better then Borat. plenty of my like-minded friends hated it though. the only part that really was "gross" was the over the top sex scenes in the beginning, but even those weren't that bad. the fact is that homosexuality pushes...- jjhatfield

The Mars Volta vs Pink Floyd
I saw the Mars Volta play live at Voodoo Fest last year. The show started off electrifying, my friends and I were all pumped up. After about three songs, we were weary of it. Its like non-stop cake icing. Sweet stuff, but I can't eat it for two hours straight.- jjhatfield

Type of Amp for HF2
I'd go with something classic, like a Millett Hybrid or a Gilmore Lite. My Minimax sounds great with the HF-2.- jjhatfield

Sennheiser HD800 Updates!!!
if the HD800 are more big-head-friendly then the O2 (and it looks like they are) they could be the can for me. one of the biggest reasons I always fall back to Sennheiser is comfort. nothing beats an HD650 comfort-wise.- jjhatfield

metal/hard rock songs for workout playlist
I'd like to second the Ministry recommendations. Anything on their last three albums is perfect. Their "Roadhouse Blues" is non-stop pumping aggression. I recommended Meshuggah's new album (Obzen) to a friend of mine who works out at a gym, and it has worked very well for him. Also have to...- jjhatfield

Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy - Buckethead
I think its just fantastic. I hardly expected it to sound anything like GNR, and sure, its dense and overproduced and protooled to death, but both the vinyl and LP sound great sonically, and the music is just awesome. Axl's vocals soar, the lyrics are as insane as ever, and the songwriting is...- jjhatfield

The Best In-Production Vinyl
Steely Dan - Aja (Cisco/Gray) Cisco is closing its doors, so this album is going out of print, but it is still available new. Really, this is a must own for any analog audiophile. Combine the studio mastery and song writing genius of the Dan with the mastering genius of Kevin Gray and we have...- jjhatfield
