I just bought an amp from hlly_headphone on eBay. No problems whatsoever with my purchase. Maybe eBay orders are treated with more care?

This might also help - one of the listed symptoms is an inability to use Home Sharing.

Could be iTunes doesn't like the security setting on your router. See the bottom of the thread here.   Is your iTunes the latest version? Router firmware up to date? If you make a wired connection does it work? Are you signed in with the same Apple ID on both devices?  

Peachtree iDac owner here. Just got it, and so far sounding great going through a GS-1 with ATH-W11R and HD 650.
