Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v56 and HQ v97)

How's the comfort on this? Been thinking about grabbing one when they do a restock on it.

I'm hearing constant white noise when connected to my PC through dongle. Anyone else getting this? I hear it constantly when nothing is playing.

I actually got the same thing the other day. Was thinking about submitting the headset for RMA. If I shake my head even just a little, the right cup area has a rattling sound. No idea where it's coming from since it doesn't seem to be from within the headset. Can't tell for certain.

They went to Audeze HQ to have the sound tested. Pretty much identical with the stock pads.

Finally. Ordered a pair as well. Way too hot these days with the stock earpads. Also on Amazon with free one day shipping: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BZLJ36P6/

Has there been any third party ear pads replacements yet? The weather is getting warmer here and the leather pads are starting to make the headset too hot. The weight doesn't help as well so trying to mitigate the issue as much as possible. Have any gel or mesh earpad replacements come out?

^This. The people who have issues are the ones who will be more vocal and will be posting about it. People with no issues are just using the headset every day, like me. I've been using my Maxwell for the past two months with zero issues. Complete opposite of the Penrose, which I stopped using...

What's the best way to update the dongle? It doesn't pop up on the Windows app for me. Even when I'm connected to the dongle through USB adapter + set to PC. I never get the prompt to update the dongle through the Windows app.

Anyone else getting random disconnect issues on PC? I'm connected to the dongle through the USB adapter. Headset would work fine for hours but then there would be random moments where the headset just disconnects and then immediately reconnects to the dongle a few seconds later. It's not a range...

Having zero issues with mine. Been using it every day since I got it. Way better then the Penrose, which I couldn't use past the first day.

I have it set to PC but I'm using a USB A to USB C adapter. Maybe that's what stopping it from connecting to update? Hope they have a work around if so since not everyone has a USB-C port on their PC.

I'm not seeing that option anywhere. I connect to the dongle first, have the headset on, then plug it in to my PC through USB, open the Audeze app and only see that the headset is at the latest firmware. Does it show your dongle in the app?

That's how I have it but I still had to set the output device in Discord to Chat Audeze Maxwell and then for Windows Audio, have the output be on the Game Audeze Maxwell. I get the same feedback about the mic quality on Discord so I'm not using it. Using the a wireless Modmic instead. Super...

Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v56 and HQ v97)

Okay figured it out for PC and Discord. Need to set the Output Device on Discord to Speakers (Chat - Audeze Maxwell) and then have your default PC audio output be on Speakers (Game - Audeze Maxwell). That way the Discord's chat audio is funneled through the separate channel and it can be...

Tried messing with that dial and it just lowered the volume of both my PC audio and my Discord chat. Not exactly sure what the function of the dial is? Does anyone know if Chatmix works on Maxwell for PC?
