I'm still confuse whether to get the W5000 earpads or AD900X earpads just like you guys mentioned @pngwn, @marts30 for my AD2000.

  But the pads block out the ad2k's driver for 30%. It does make my ad2k sounds brighter which is not my taste.

Wow, less than 1 year and my Dacport is dead. No nothing came after plugged in the cable. White LED does not turn on either. Wonder if you guys has/had same situation as me? Going to warranty it.

is it leather? the w5000 pads feel very soft and cushion. :D

Denon's pad = treble is increase, kind of fatigue Phatmod = bass impact is reduce, wider soundstage W5000's pad = *going to try this out soon. stock = the best LOL
