Audeze are pretty much end game pads if your not that into bass.   Mids and treble are super fantastic, better than focuspads.  However, to me, they do not have the same bass attack as focuspads which is why I switch between the audeze pads and focuspads every so often.     So if I were to...

    I have used focuspad a, focuspad non-a, audeze vegan pads, pleathers, velour, brainwavz.   I would say if you like the sound signature of velours then focuspad is probably the next logical step.     I use the A version as it has just a tad more bass than the non-a version.

Does anyone know where I can purchase a he560 headband only?   My he500 headband is falling apart, specifically at where it holds the drivers in place, Im going to give a go to a headband swap.   Is emailing hifiman the only way to get a he560 headband?

    The audeze pads to me just dont hit hard enough in the bass section.  With hifiman velour pads, the bass is thunderous compared to the audeze.  However, the audeze pads comfort wise are top notch.     Mids and treble are also much better IMO vs velour pads.
