Has any CD3000 owner ever come upon an aftermarket headband cover that would either zip on or Velcro onto the top of the headband?  Something like the Beyer headband pad except without the button attachment system.  I have no problem templating and sewing the bridge section but it would be great...

I'll vouch for Todd on this one, I bought a used HE-400 from him and upon receiving them and going over every millimeter of them I could not tell they were used.  Plus they arrived almost as fast as I ordered them (I do however live in a border state to MT).

I did some quick research before I pulled the trigger and most of what I saw was very good mids with vocals that almost seemed right in the room with the listener.  Even saw some comparisons to the DT-48.  I'd suspect something between the V6 and 7520.
