REVIEW: Yulong D100 MKII DAC - an update to an already excellent device

Nop, with all due respect that's incorrect.   The High socket has at least 50% more gain that the low one.    With my JH16's I can handle the volume up to 60% ( 1:00 o'clock ) when on low output but once connected to high output I can't bear the loudness beyond 40% ( 10 o'clock )

REVIEW: Yulong D100 MKII DAC - an update to an already excellent device

Out of curiosity , the Low headphones output on the D100 means it has high impedance and vice versa ?    Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also something I never mentioned, it depends on the listening volumes. I listen most of the time at really loud volumes.   If you try the test track "Stereophile 40 Hz or 31.5 Hz, one third octive warble tone at -20dB" , you can never feel the bass at low volumes unless you have an amp. From...

Quote:   They are only bright if I break the seal. Once they are in it's another story. The sound signature is more like L shape instead of V. You know that feeling when the first octave note on the piano rattles your ears because of the bass... Something I never experienced with other...

Well yeah the JH16's bass is unbeatable period.   I spent my night with some audio freaks friends and played with the Shure530/535 Westone4, Beats by Dre, Senn IE8, Q-jays and Ath-ck10...   No No No... seriously I amped them all with my Yulong D100 MK2 Dac/Amp and the JH16's literally...
