How does the DAC on the Titanium HD compare to something like the FiiO E7 (WM8740)?

I've had my E9 since last Friday (yay Miccastore!) and it sounds great with my DT880/600s, K702s and LA2000s. My only complaints against it are the lack of color on dial (I did ghetto mod it, but still lol) and lack of cover for the docking port up top. I understand that it's meant to be used...

The HardOCP review is claiming it's got a proper amp built-in.  ROBSCIX was checking on that in a Guru3D thread but never replied back with a definitive answer.   If you really wanted an STX I would trade you 1-1 for your T-HD.  I miss my Creative based Forte in games.
