Mono mini (3.5mm) output for RCA L/R powered subwoofer
I have a desktop amplifier for bookshelf speakers. I ordered a new subwoofer. But the connection between them cast some cloud over me. The desktop amplifier is the old version NAD 3020 which has the description on its subwoofer output: dedicated mono mini (3.5mm) output for powered subwoofer...- HiAudio

Sennheiser HD800 vs. Beyerdynamic T1 2nd gen vs. Klipsch Heritage HP-3
The OTL is simply out of my reach given my current disposable cash. The Violetric seems to be great. Will see when I can get an upgrade :smile_phones:. How much better will the V281 make HD800 better than with the HDVA600? Did you use it only without pre-amp?- HiAudio

Sennheiser HD800 vs. Beyerdynamic T1 2nd gen vs. Klipsch Heritage HP-3
If I can catch a great deal I may get it. The HDVA600 is specicifically designed for the HD800 by Sennheiser. If it only bring 70% of HD800 capability, I am not that sure about it. I am sure there are better amplifier but they might be more expensive. The HDVA600 has 4 outputs and is very...- HiAudio

Sennheiser HD800 vs. Beyerdynamic T1 2nd gen vs. Klipsch Heritage HP-3
I have the HD800 which I love it and would keep it even I have more and better one. I had been interested in the Byerdynamic T1 first generation. Of course I like the 2nd generation even more. I had Klipsch Synergy home theater system and bookshelf RP-160M. Needless to say I love this brand...- HiAudio

4 pin XLR male to 3 pin XLR male (or 1/4" TRS male) splitter
Something similar, what I was looking for has the opposite male-female connector to the one at eBay. But right now I do not need it because I bought a new integrated amplifier NAD D 3020 and no longer need to use HDVA 600 to a powered amplifier. If I happens to see the right one I may try it and... -

Full size close-back inexpensive headphone driven by smart phone and PC
Yes, I read it's not very comfortable, maybe it feels like what I feel from Sennheiser HD 380 Pro. I read someone changed ear pads and it became comfortable. I will try that. After this I am done with headphone. I have close to 10 already. Unless I have a few $$$$ for an STAX SR-009- HiAudio

4 pin XLR male to 3 pin XLR male (or 1/4" TRS male) splitter
I searched on web and cannot find any such cable. I need it to connect the 4 pin XLR to the headphone output on HDVA 600 so I can put the two 3 pin XLR (or the 1/4" TRS male) to the input of a powered amplifier for bookshelf speakers. Btw, from DAC Audio GD-19 to the HDVA 600 I am using...- HiAudio

Full size close-back inexpensive headphone driven by smart phone and PC
I had a few head phones which work for me greatly at home. I am looking for one that I will use at office. My Sennheiser HD Pro 380 is closed back and it does not feel comfortable. I haven't frequented this board for quiet long and I am not aware if any headphone meet what I need. 1. decent...- HiAudio

Can I use DAC-19 from Audio-GA and HDVA 600 to power bookshelf speakers?
Thank you Dulalala and ProtegeManiac, I think I will buy a new integrated amp or a powered amp. I love my current headphone rig very much and will keep it. Luckily, some decent amp to drive the bookshelf speakers aren't so expensive as those that drive the headphone.- HiAudio

Sennheiser RS220 advice needed – possible problem?
Something is wrong with your headphone, or the base or the transmission between them. I have HD650 and RS220. The sound quality of the RS 220 is so close to HD650 that I could not tell the difference. My Only problem with the RS220 is that if I walked to a different room that there are two...- HiAudio

Can I use DAC-19 from Audio-GA and HDVA 600 to power bookshelf speakers?
I am using DAC-19 from Audio-GA and HDVA 600 to power Sennheiser HD800 and the set is pretty good. But Sometimes I don't like headphone hooked on head. I want to get the Klipsch RP-160M bookshelf speakers. Can I use the same DAC-19 from Audio-GA and HDVA 600 to power the Klipsch RP-160M...- HiAudio
