    Mini Dac TDA1543 X 4 NOS

ok.   I've tried to understand these informations. In this link about axiom, they are writing, that they don't have to use a potmeter; so, they are using some wires, rca sockets, some switch and a resistor. So how does this diagram will look like?   Also this one is not clear for me:  ...

    Mini Dac TDA1543 X 4 NOS

Thanks a lot for your reply.   However, a passive pre amp is something new for me; never heard about it.   Surely I won't buy such expensive passive's, so I try to build my own. I found some of:       3 inputs, 2 outputs (one for amp headphone, stable).   It uses one ALPS...

    Mini Dac TDA1543 X 4 NOS

Hi   I got this dac with mods + smsl tripath mini amp (2x25W I guess). Now I am thinking about some preamp maybe...could anyone give me advise about some not too expensive preamps from ebay to buy that would be accurate to my setup?  ...

Quote:   Which capacitors exactly have you extracted? C8 & C9? And you left those empty places without doing anything additional? Could you show us some pix?   I am also interested in better grounding.   maybe this photo from earlier post will help:     Thanks.

I would add those four electrolytic 47uF capacitors, but please could someone tell me what amount of voltage of those caps should be: 25, 50 or 63V? any other value? and they should be bipolar or normal?   I've found some audiophile nichicon muse caps with various amount of voltage to...

Quote: it works fine. I did it familiar to this post:    http://www.head-fi.org/t/512389/mini-dac-tda1543-x-4-nos/225#post_7312137   but with no PIO's but MKP instead. the quality is better; i guess also the lows are deeper.

Quote:   oh, I see...I was asking, 'cause I got some old aluminum coins, and I thought maybe to glue them to those hot elements. so, would it be ok to just glue them with some "super glue"?   what is SS components?   thanks.

Quote:   wouldn't be that true if there was only one tda chip?   if there are 4 tda chips and if input is 24/96 signal, aren't those 24 bits divided somehow between them?I don't know if equally, that is 6 bits for each, but maybe one gets 16 bits and second 8 and other nothing. in...

Quote:   and how did You put this cooler with those chips together? with some glue?   max ambient temperature of 1543 chips is about 85 degrees C and of LM317 is 125 I guess, so maybe it isn't so bad...I am still waiting for the PSU...I have some bad luck, 'cause I bought it from...

Yeah, elna.    But I am wondering why it is getting so hot? Because it just have to be that way or maybe those parts are some fake chinese crap?Is those elements not being damaged by this temperature?    I am still waiting for different psu; maybe smaller amount of voltage will decrease...

    Mini Dac TDA1543 X 4 NOS

I just got it yesterday. It's in black box, the PCB is white. The one with AMS1117 3.3V and 15-18V on input. So far I am using standard PSU (12V @ 1000 mA) with red LED on top of it. The PSU is getting quite warm and the little black metal plate inside is quite hot. But I guess this will do no...

    No, not this one. ATLANTIS it's name. It has variable amounts of voltage (3; 4,5; 6; 7,5; 9; 12) @ 800 mA.

Linear stabilised DC power supplier @ 9V  800mA will be good enough for this dac?   thanks.
