Does these change the sound? If so, how? I find the sound with the grey foam tips that comes with the Etymotic ER4 brighter. I also heard that the comply P-Series foam tips sounds brighter.- hema

I noticed it too through my momentum, he400 and cowon ek2. But I gave it a second listen if it is me only observing the changes as there are no posts claiming the changes. So the sound is changed once again. How come they do this through firmware I wonder!!- hema

Most reviews here tend towards technical factor like bass tightness, both ends extensions, treble harshness, soundstage depth, comparing the sound to neutral sound signature, ergonomics, microphonics, build qulaity, cable quality, housing, the height and width of soundstage, separation, etc.,. ...- hema
