Monoprice Monolith M565 immpresions
Out of curiosity I pulled the pads off to see what Zeos Patera was talking about with the pads. In his review of the m565 he mentioned that the pads have a thick screen that is barely see through. Basically it is a layer of thick fuzz on the back side so that the velcro can grip the pads. I...- hchanrn

The Zishan dsd's corner
Anyone have info on how to contact the zishan? I made the mistake of sliding the board out of the case ion the zishan 4497 in the wrong direction and ended up ruining the lcd screen. Trying to figure out if they have replacement upper board with the lcd attached or replacement lcd alone.- hchanrn

Ibasso DX80
Just got my dx80 back from Jamato for a battery change out. Great work and fast turn around. Was referred to him by Paul from Ibasso. Nice thing is that Jamato is here in the U.S. So it was good to know that I didn't need to send the unit off to China for service. '- hchanrn

Monolith M300 In Ear Planar Earphones
Just got my pair last week. Aside from quirky fitting these are actually sounding better as I burn them in. Been doing quick listening sessions at different intervals of burn in times. Mids and highs are moving in better direction. No quite 100% for my tastes at this time...but getting...- hchanrn

I am frustrated with the same exact problem. I am running the modi 1 on ubuntu basically having the exact same problems. Appears when it wants to. I tried to hook up on my other windows systems....same problem. All I can say is that it's finally crapped out after 5 years. Time to look for a...- hchanrn

Little Bear B-2 Portable Amp
The best way I have found to remove the op amps would be to take a pair of cheap precision tweezers and bend the tips inward. To remove the op amps hook the tips under the op amps and pull straight up. Don't rock it back and forth or else the pins will bend. As for the amp...still running...- hchanrn

Little Bear B-2 Portable Amp
tested these two op amps from Texas Instruments LM4562 and LM49860. The LM4562 seems a little dry, LM49860 sounding great with my classic string instruments. Like the sound better than the BB opamps.- hchanrn

Little Bear B-2 Portable Amp
Just checking in and giving everyone a little update on my amp. Still running pretty well. I can fairly say I got my $59.00 worth. I think I may have charged it a hand full of times and even that I never really ran it down to a low enough charge where it needed to be plugged it. I sometimes...- hchanrn
