Best DIY Desktop DAC
Thanks for the info, I have been checking out the website and I'm going to purchase the y1 and y2 PCBs. When i came to finish the transaction, I saw that the shipping/handling is almost double the price of the components. Is there any way to have the parts shipped via a different method? Im not...- HarryOMalley

Hi there, im thinking about building a pupDAC myself, the only question i have is, is it possible to output the analogue signal via 3.5mm, as opposed to RCA?- HarryOMalley

Best DIY Desktop DAC
From just looking in the past half an hour, I have realised that the ODAC does not have any documentation for DIYers, you can only purchase completed or partially completed kits. With the Gamma, what does the Gamma2 add to the Gamma1, does it make it much better quality sound?- HarryOMalley

I have also been looking at that, do you know how the quality of the Gamma2 compare with that of the ODAC?- HarryOMalley

I would really like to make Tube amp, however they seem to be slightly more expensive and I want to pick an amp that will last well, and I can make (relatively) quickly. At the moment, I am going to make an O2 Amp and i would like to make the ODAC or the pupDAC, the ODAC is supposedly very good...- HarryOMalley

ATH-AD900X
Hello all, So the AD900x are on offer where I live for £60, but I was about to get the DT990s, is it worth spending the £60 extra for these aswell as or instead of the DT990s? Thanks.- HarryOMalley

Best DIY Desktop DAC
Hi both thanks for your replies. That's what I was thinking, although the Gainclone is good sounding with speakers I didn't know whether it would transfer to headphones too... Have you heard what the O2 Amps sound like? They seem like a good route to go down.- HarryOMalley

AKG K550 Velour Pads, headband cushion?
Hello all, So I have some AKG K550s, which I love. They have such a great sound, however they start to become uncomfortable after a while. The stock headphone pads I find are uncomfortable as is the headband. After some research I found some headband cushions as well as some velour pads, but...- HarryOMalley

Best DIY Desktop DAC
Hello all, I own a pair of AKG K550s and I am soon going to be purchasing a pair of beyerdynamic DT 990s. The version of these headphones that I am likely to be purchasing is the 250 ohm version. From this, and the fact that I would like to improve the sound of my current AKGs, I want to get...- HarryOMalley
