my go to method to add music is Plug micro sd into computer. Transfer new music, put microsd back into player. Everytime I do this it rescans the whole 256gb worth of music which is 10k files. even if I am only adding 1 folder. Is there anyway around this?

Hi Head fi, my DX90 kicked the bucket, searched for another DAP with replaceable battery which are becoming increasingly rare. What DAP would you recommend that keep the DX90 sound signature (analytical)

what about ones where they are easily replaced by the user? Eg. screwdriver not any soldering.

Owned the AFC for just shy of two years now, the right earpad has started flaking. Has anyone found suitable replacements that aren't faux leather? Are there any other alternatives for the pads?

yeah what im looking for is improved comfort and easiness of insertion, removing the 3-flanged tip isnt hard, but apparently custom tips are a step up?

After Getting some replies that re-shelling is a bad idea. Custom eartips is the way to go apparently. Has anyone used sensaphonics in the past? or any other vendor recommendations? Just found out etymotic has a custom eartip program as well, anyone have experience with them?
