Shure se535...ouch, these hurt. Will custom moldings change that?

Hi Gloco, similar problem here, the 530s fit just sweetly, but can not get the 535s to seal, I blame it on my small ears, so if the lady in a view posts up gets a seal, I eat my monitors...maybe she does, but I can only get a bass when I push with my fingers. I hope a custom sleeve  can solve...

    Shure SE535 ear piercing highs

I just got my 535s to replace the 530s which had a broken cable I soldered back together, but that will not last long as it is going in another places, and also the other rubber part are falling of regularly, they had it. There is quite a lot fo change to my ear, the 535s are a lot more forward...

    SE535 vs SE530 re. fit

Funnily enough, I have the opposite experience, SE530 fit well, the SE535 is comfy, lies flat on the ear, rather than in the ear, but I can not get a good seal, so no bass (well not very good anyway) and not as good at noise canceling....I have small ears, have to use the smallest olives/foams...

Hello Haycheng, I heard a lot of hiss with my SE530s before I used the , strong from laptop, a lot weaker from ipod. With the shadow there is no hiss at all....I turn itunes and laptop up full, and then get this signal to the shadow. All you hear with the Se530 is a very slight feeling that...

I don't know the theories....but I have got the 840s and here is what I think they sound like/compare to the SE530s I usually use with the shadow: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/rev...ml#post6164630 The shadow drives the 840 very well in my opinion, the SE can damage your ears badly, the...

    Review: Shure SE530

Hello Joel, I must be what you call an an audiophile.....bought the 840s, and I love em. The soundstage is much wider compared to the SE530s, but I don't know if that makes sense, they also are less "precise", in locating sources and in clarity. There is like a slight mist on the sound...

Hello joel, seriously good advice.....I was thinking of getting some closed cans, for my good and in the best interest of my surrounding.....I was thinking of Beyer DT250, Sennheisers HD250 pro or Audiotechnika ATH m50, seems like the shure are in the same price and similar performance...
