Total concurage. The LisaIII is so accurate I use it for masting sometimes. My favorite thing about the amp is its mid range freq. response. Personally, I wouldn't spend the money on a headphone amp any bigger in size then the Lisa III; I would rather use the space and money on a speaker amp...

Pan, you've double checked the connection? If the PS is working right it should allow the LisaIII to be powered on even if the batteries are dead. Have you tried powering on the Lisa with the PS plugged in? Does it work? If it doesn't, that explains why the batteries aren't charging...
