love my triple fi's.  Like a couple posters said, people with small ears might find these uncomfortable.  Very balanced/dynamic sound.......love them

I am very interested too.  I had the LCD-2 and absolutely loved them.  I sold them to fund another toy.  Now I am leaning toward the JH16 do to versatility.  But I would love to hear about there sonic differences and similiarities...thanks

I have bought 2 pairs of M50's off ebay for under $100.  It was several months back.  No issues.  I believe they are 100% authentic, but I did not know there were fake M50's out there?

I have both of these amps (matrix is stock).  I have been going back and forth with both amps running the 650's/701/LCD's as I read this thread.  I would have to say I prefer the Matrix with all three, but not by a huge amount.  In simple terms the Matrix has more bass, power and midrange...

I did not hate the 800's, but they were too bright for me.  At moderate volumes the sound was fatiging.  I agree with the others on the LCD-2's.  I really think the op will like there sound......

Just a bit frustrating.  I received scratched cups in shipping on my first pair.  They sent me a new pair right away.  Awesome service.  I have NO issues with Audeze.  It is just a bit frustrating.  There is NO excuse for Sennheiser.....they should be able to able to produce  a much superior...

I was not on the email list.  But checking mine also have the cracked block on the left side.  I just emailed Audeze.  I am sure they will send replacements, but man, these quality control issues are frustrating.....mostly because I love the sound of these phones so much....

I just wanted to let everyone know that I emailed Audeze at midnight last night, and both gentleman from Audeze emailed me back before 7am.  They assured me they will take car of the damage, and I know they will.  Great service....
