IEM's with sound signature like D2000?

I have the Atrio M5, and they sound like they'll fit your bill.

    New Bass++ ports

Does anyone know how to get a pair of the new bass++ ports? The Sleek-Audio website only shows the bass tuning ports as a package, and doesn't say if the new bass ++ is included. And I wouldn't need/want the -, = and + ports anyways, only the ++ SoundEarPhones.com does not have them. I...

Anyone know if Sleek Audio will sell the bass++ ports for those of us that got our sa6 before their introduction?

Anyone know where I can find the post for making your own foam tips?

I don't know about the tutorial, but I have tried making my own with tubing from used Comply's and Shure's, and earplugs (two kinds - for construction, and for airplace travel). The construction kind seemed to have the same type material as the Shure yellow foams, maybe a little denser...

    IEM case gripe

I wear glasses so I have a bunch of eye glass cases, and they work really well. Hard shell case, spring loaded closure, large enough to fit a pair of iems plus extra ear tips, but slim enough to fit in my jacket pocket.

I might cry. Finding headphones is too hard.

M-Audio Q40. Within your budget. Neutral slightly warm sounding. Durable. Not comfortable (clamps hard) if you have a large head, but you can bend the headband a bit and release the pressure. Somewhat underrated, but I feel it's one the best bang for your buck headphones.

Need help: what is the right deep BASS in-ear phone among: Super.fi 5EB | Atrio M5 | Denon AH-C751

Atrios does use dynamic drivers. In fact it's Futuresonics proprietary dynamic driver. If you were not satisfied with the Atrio's bass, like toughnut said and I think what he meant was, you better stay away from IEMs and canalphones in general and stick to full size cans (and the Atrio's bass...

Looking For new set of IEMs $150-250

Never heard the UM2, but I have the SA6 and M5. For bass, the M5 is amazing, better than the SA6. The M5 has a warmer sound that the SA6, not thatthe SA6 sound cold and analytical. The SA6 are definitely warm for balanced armature phones. But if you want slightly more clarity and detail and...

    Sleek SA6

For trace/electronic/d&b I think the Atrio tops the SA6 (especially for d&b). They have some of the best low frequency extension I've heard. Sometimes I feel like I have full size cans on. After some burn-in they are very controlled, never bloaty, and don't blanket other frequencies. Since the...

    Sleek SA6

I have recently purchased the Atrio M5, on top of owning the SA6 for a few weeks or so already. Durability wise, I think the Atrio is slightly ahead only because it has less moving parts. (mind you I've had both phones for less than a month, so only time will tell) The chrome cover on my...

Ear cleaning procedure for long lasting canalphone seal

Ear wax is actually every important. It's slightly acidic so it prevents the growth of bacteria. This is especially important for us IEM wearer since we insert the tips pretty deep. You need a bit of ear wax so you don't get ear infections.
