IEMs with Largest, Most Open Soundstage
If you don't mind an IEM with slightly less isolation due to increased driver venting, I'll chip in and say that the Ocharaku Flat 4 series has one of the widest soundstages I've ever heard (easily more so than Andro/ isine 10 with more isolation than the isines). The Flat 4 Keyaki/Sakura/Kaede...- fusionsword

From what I know, the Nami and the Kuro Ti Plus use different drivers so they *might* sound different, though I've never heard the Nami myself so I wouldn't know (within the Flat4 series, I only have listening experience with Kuro Ti Plus and all the TOTL wood Flat 4s) From what I know, the...- fusionsword

Within the soundstage, Donguri has excellent detail. But I would still say go for the Flat 4- fusionsword

Having owned the original Donguri Keyaki for an extended period of time and as a current owner of the Kaede Type II, I'd say it depends on what you listen to. The Donguris are better for vocals and things like chamber music, while I'd go with the Flat 4s for instrumentals on a large scale (like...- fusionsword

Stax: SR 002 + Srm 002 and Srm 003 mk2 + Srm 003 impression and appreciation thread
Hey, I went down to my local store today and exchanged my amp unit. Indeed, the other amp had a way softer hum (nearly inaudible really). Thanks for the advice!- fusionsword

Hi fellow SR-002 owners: I just got a unit myself (very late to the party yes I know) and have been enjoying it for a few hours. A query though - I have this high pitch hum in eco mode but none in normal mode. Does this point to a problem with the circuit, and is it any cause for concern that I...- fusionsword

I'm not sure what comparisons you seek, but I'll try to provide a comparison from memory as it has been quite a while since I last heard the Oriolus...but I would generally consider the Oriolus to be rather balanced, relative to the Ocharaku focus on upper mids and treble. As for Fitear (I'll...- fusionsword

Hi there, I wouldn't really consider them to be mid-centric in the true sense of the term, having owned the Donguri Keyaki. To my ears at least, they're not thick and syrupy like the Shure 535s. Rather, they have an upper midrange focus so that makes them excellent for female vocals but some may...- fusionsword

I agree on the need for removable cables. Though the cable is relatively soft, supple and tough, I can't imagine what would happen to my cable over time. Probably cable fatigue, heh. But if one babies them (since it's for home listening) it should last for quite a bit... That said though, I...- fusionsword

FLC Technology FLC8 and FLC8s Impressions Thread
http://tech.caijing.com.cn/20150123/3806277.shtml Found a review from the storeowner of an audio shop in Beijing - he likens this to the Fidue A83 which represent great value for money, and even as an IEM he would carry alongside the K3003 (and of course, the A83 itself). I agree. Having heard both the Flat4 and Donguri series I believe a lot of effort has been put into this technology. Can't wait to hear how it turns out!- fusionsword
