As far as wireless headphones under $1000, are these the best sounding?

  These would run me 200-300 for just two monitors, no sub. Would it still be a better option than that of a klipsch 2.1 system? I will mostly use these speakers with onboard sound and for general use. I have a Schiit Modi 2 and valhalla I use with headphones for music

I too am very interested in comparisons between the original Valhalla and the 2. Particularly I would like to hear about comparisons using 300-600 ohm headphones since the old one wasn't even meant to play iem's and such

anyone replace a Valhalla with a Valhalla 2? Want to know how much of an improvement there is. 

Just recieved my black version to replace the original silver one I had. Man this thing is drop dead gorgeous. I love the matte finish, really goes well with the glowing tubes :)

I was able to snag one if these bad boys for $750 brand new from buying.com :) Only just got t90s last month but this was too good to pass up. Can't wait to listen to flagship headphones

The pc is custom built and the parts art all pretty high end as far as the motherboard and psu. Unfortunately I only don't have a battery amp to test. I think I'll try a USB isolator see if I can resolve the issue that way. Thanks for all your input :)

Not sure how to describe it sorry. Sounds like a static ringing. Stan I have already tried the same powerstrip as my pc and no dice. I'm almost positive something is up with my USB or pc. Oh btw here is the thread where the person seemed to have the same issue...

OK so an update. I tested the hardware in exactly the same position as seen in the picture. Using a laptop it's silent. Unplugging the USB and plugging it into my desktop and boom static. So this basically singles out my desktop as the culprit and not the power outlet I read someone seemed to...

I havnt been able to really compare them. Will probably have a better chance this weekend. I will say this though, the dt770 for the price is absolutely phenomenal. I have throughly enjoyed them the last two weeks, and still find it hard to believe they cost $150-$175
