Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
I usually use the Analytic Pads mostly with the DT1990 Pro. I've never heard Amiron Home. How does Amiron Home behave compared to the DT1990 in the region around 8kHz (Beyer Peak)? Is it about the same or is it more or less audible? In my experience, the Beyer peak is only noticeable in a few...- FritzS

Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Anniversary model
Whats the differences (tone balance, frequency response) between DT770 Pro X Anniversary (closed) and the open DT1990 Pro or Amiron Home? The drivers of DT1990 and Amiron are "Teslas" - what is used in DT7xx and DT9xx series? Are stellar.45 driver “Teslas“?- FritzS

THE COMPOSER OPEN BACK FLAGSHIP by AUSTRIAN AUDIO
In the bass range, it was realised several years ago that certain harmonics give the listener the impression of a powerful low bass without the fundamental being transmitted at a sufficient level. The human hearing system (human brain) calculates this fundamental wave itself. This effect was...- FritzS

AXEL GRELL HEADPHONE
I was allowed to listen to the K1000 on loan for a few months. Detto also Mysphere in various stages of development and with different pad versions. In principle, headphones are and remain headphones and cannot provide the free sound field of a loudspeaker reproduction - nor can they provide the...- FritzS

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
Now I switched back and forth between balanced and analytic pads several times. With analytic pads, Camille Bertault's voice seems to be a touch clearer. The dull rumble of the grand piano, played by David Helbock, doesn't seem to lose much, is rather clearer. With balanced pads, DT1990 moves in...- FritzS

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
Playground by David Helbock & Camille Bertault - with analytic pads the low rumble of the piano is not as voluminous as with balanced pads. The overall sound with analytic pads is closer to the Composer, which has an almost straight frequency response from the mid to the low bass region...- FritzS
