earphones for working out that are sweat proof?
meelec m6 is a good possibility. they're over ear, which really cuts down microphonics(cable noise), good for working out. as for sweat proof, they survived a hot summer under my full face bmx helmet, i'd say they pass the test. saw this in another thread: Quote: -
Meelectronics m6 question
Quote: stupid question, does that include the clear ones? I know the M6 CL but i don't remember what the P is. if that did include the clear ones, that's an amazing price. tho the black ones look cool too.- ForgottenxxRebel

Meelectronics m6 question
not gonna lie, the "coolness" factor of the clear m6 influenced me. i think it was worth it, the cable looks very custom-ish. and it blends in with my skin color better than a black or white cable would. -
Canker sores (aka mouth ulcers)
mouth ulcers = herpes you definitely CAN get them from physical trauma. i should know, i took a big bite on the side of my mouth, from a faceplant off my bike. another treatment that works is baking soda, a little on the sore area helps.- ForgottenxxRebel

ESW9 or HD25-1 II or other for portable use and keeping warm
Quote: x2. that's the best way to go in the winter. i'd be afraid to wear any good cans outside, for fear of rain/snow ruining them. or the cold, i don't know if that can have any negative effects on headphones, maybe in very cold temps. but iems + beanie has worked well for...- ForgottenxxRebel

IEM choice with ISOLATION
Quote: if you're looking for the over-ear cable style, there's the m6, which usually comes with the tripple flange tips. i think they're comfortable and isolate pretty well. if you go with the m11, i'm sure the meelec site can help you find the right size triple flange tips for...- ForgottenxxRebel

Headphone Sightings 2
Quote: :barf: those are the worst skullcandy headphones too. i don't know why anyone would say they kick ass, since they have no bass at all. i know, strange for skullcandy. Quote: that can be a problem with iems. i'll let people listen to them, but...- ForgottenxxRebel

Why did you choose your username?
'forgotten rebel' is my favorite song from one of the first albums i listened to that really got me into street punk. i just added the x's assuming spaces were not allowed, plus all the cool kids do it, so... btw, the album is 'still fighting for a future' by the virus.- ForgottenxxRebel

Which IEM is better, MEElectronics M11+ vs. ViSang R02 vs. Brainwavz M1 vs. MEElectronics Ai-M6 / M6?
i'd get the m6 with the triple flange tips if you want good isolation. plus they're over ear cable and that really cuts down on microphonics(perfect for working out, sports, activeness, etc).- ForgottenxxRebel

HDTV and old cable box
Quote: no, you don't have to change the box. most tvs have rf inputs so you can also connect vcrs, old video game systems, etc. i'd be surprised if a tv didn't have a rf input and cable tv tuner, since you can still get cable tv service without a box.- ForgottenxxRebel

Justin Bieber
bieber comes across as a major d-bag, so i doubt he's as smart as angus with his money. which is a shame for bieber since he's the next aaron carter/hanson/boy band who will be forgotten about soon.- ForgottenxxRebel
