Exactly this! When AKG state "A three-button remote lets you control the playback functions from your Apple device." then you'd at least expect it to fit your Apple device, even with a case on. I know not everyone uses a case on their iPhone, but I'd say the majority do.

I'm also wondering a similar thing myself, although I'm also considering over the ear headphones, although choice there seems to be more difficult.   However, the Sennheiser PX 200 IIi seem to have a reasonable following on here and can be had for around £65

So people, would you rate these as being better than the rather overprice Beats Solo HDs?

I'd also be interested to know what they're like. I've got a pair of Beats Solo HDs which I don't get on with. Would these 451's be better, for half the cost of the Beats?
