  I totally agree, coming from owning the HD800, LCD2.2, HD650 and a range of other headphones I plan on keeping my Z7 as I was not satisfied with the sound signature of the others I have owned.    The Z7 is quite unique in the way it sounds and for some reason my ears love it.

  Running off my Fiio E17K + E9i at the moment.   Does a stellar job and really liking the mids / bass response on them to my ears. 

Does anyone have the frequency response graphs for the V8s?

Just picked up my Z7 and wow I am really digging the sound sig and comfort. Initial impressions:   Mids are extremely well done whilst bass feels controlled with that subtle punch I love. Treble is rolled off as described by many reviews which is something that doesn't bother me at all.   ...

How are the A12s? how do they compare against the V series eg V8s?

I do believe he is there. I went there about a year and a half ago and got my impressions done by him.   Fit snug and perfectly.

Going to back to iHear for another impression to be done for my Shure SE425 reshell by inearz :)   Excellent place and would recommend

Looking into getting my Shure SE425s remolded :)   Lets see how it turns out. Need a more neutral sounding CIEM so I can get the best of both worlds coming from a 1964 V8.
