I don't think so. I'd say that you rather risk damaging the balanced source, if anything.

The only different SKUs for the XBA N3 are N3AP and N3BP, if it is A, ir comes with 3.5mm single ended cable. If it is BP, it comes with 4.5mm balanced cable.

Thankfully, Sennheiser prices drop like a stone rather fast. I really want to try the IE 400 Pro. I really like the design, and the signature seems to be around my alley.

How do you rate the N3 against the FH7?

I use over the ear cables with my N3, haven't had the beed to switch R and L. They fit just nice facing up or down both ways.

I didn't have an M6 nor M9, but I cannot discern any lag when using the M11. The sound comes out as fast as a GSX1000, which they say it is as real time as it gets.
