    Monster Miles Davis Tribute thread

I'm not bowled over by these when listening to rock and metal with loud busy mixes and distorted guitars.  Might have to try some HJE900s with this genre...  However, they are phenomenal with anything acoustic or electronic.  Drum'n'Bass sounds great, and the Radiohead In Rainbows album is just...

    IEM Recommendations?

You do realise that Monster have a lifetime warranty and will give you a one-time replacement even if you break them?  If you were happy with the turbines you could step up to the Turbine Golds or Miles Davis, or check out the Sennheiser IE8, Radius DDM (HP-TWF11R) or Panasonic HJE900.  Those...

IE8 soundsignature with details and precision of ba drivers - suggestions?

I was on a similar search not long ago and after some research came up with Monster Turbine Golds / Miles Davis Tributes, Radius DDM or Panasonic HJE900s.  Ended up with the Miles Davis, but might just have to try the Panas as well!

Head over to the XDA forums to find out more, but as far as I know, Supercurio has only worked on porting the Voodoo sound improvements to the Galaxy S / Vibrant / Fascinate and Nexus S.

    Musical/Bassy IEM or Portable Recommendation

Add the Panasonic HJE900 to your list, they are under £100 on amazon!  Not heard them myself but have read they have really good bass response, although the treble may be bright for some.

    Monster Miles Davis Tribute thread

Just pulled the trigger on a set of these MDs, my first decent set of IEMs (currently using ancient Sennheiser CX300s).  I've spent far too much time trying to decide on a pair and was all set to get the IE8 until I read some of the glowing reviews in this thread!

    Sennheiser IE8 Impressions Thread

Quote:   They're £150 on Play.com!  Although they do tend to use third parties, and there's always the risk of counterfeits I suppose.  I might buy these, I have the CX300 and am looking to upgrade, and I must say, being a bass player I do enjoy the bump in the mid-bass region!   I'm...
