Putting a class A amplifier on a portable audio device is a dumb idea. I'll be impressed when someone puts a Universal Class D amplifier on a PMP.

I'm curious about this, but could you be a little more explicit on the make and model of an "AMP3?"

Any significant difference in audio fidelity between those 3 players? Any other difference between the 3 upon which I should base my selection?

I care about WMA lossless because there's no car stereo head unit that supports FLAC. I want a lossless codec that is supported by both a portable music player and a head unit There are head units that support AAC and WMA, but it isn't clear that any lossless codec is supported by any head unit.
