Just a update, I've burnt the ie8's in a little more and they are sounding much better. I have had a chance to compare it to a fully burnt in Shure 535 and it just sounded so much better, much more dynamic and warmer than the ie8's, I also think the bass was tighter (but im still a audio noob!)...

Hmmm if you mean where it says 'Open here' then yes there is a magnet there and clicks into place. But I think it sounds bad (haven't burnt in), I would describe it as harsh and dont feel that low hitting bass.

Hey guys at the moment im running M50's with the musiland 02, to be honest the musiland didnt make that much a difference to the headphones except amplify the volume a little. Is there anything I can add to the setup to improve the sound quality (fiio e11)? Or would I just need to upgrade...

Found the problem, it was a dodgy US to USA converter. Fully working now and sounding great! :D Im using the 1.0.13 drivers, what are the best drivers for this?

Hey thanks for that, I just installed wasabi and selected it from the preference menu but still no sound output? Could this be a faulty unit, everything is picked up ok just no sound?

This device is picked up by my PC, It says so in the Sound part of the control panel and in device manager. Im just trying to play a MP3 through WMP and no sound seems to be coming out. I've also just disabled the default sound card from the bios and no change.   In the sound panel I right...

Ok I've installed 1.0.9 but still no luck, I see the volume graphics change as I play the song but just not getting any audio? Ive also disabled all the other sound drivers, could it be I need firmware update?

Hey there, I got my musiland today but cant seem to get my headphones to be working? I've installed the 1.0.13 drivers and Ive left the firmware as it is out of the box. I tried clicking HP on the software but still nothing?   Also when I plug the USB in windows bring up the box, saying...

Ummm I wouldnt say thumping bass, got nice clean bass but the beats probably had more quantity. IMO it just has enough for me and I listen to RnB mostly.

I've got to say at first I wasn't satisfied but after many hours of burning them in I absolutely love them!   I went into a apple store today to test out the headphones they had on show and the M50's annihilated the competition in my eyes ( I just got into audio so im no professional! )...
