I love my EVO 300 integrated paired with Beyerdynamic DT 1990 headphones!

I've had a DV 336se for a few years for an office system. I think the amp is really good - for the money it is amazing. I use this amp with 250 ohm Beyerdynamic 770 headphones - I think it is a really good pairing.

A couple of weeks ago I made my decision and today I picked up my EVO 300. My initial impression is very positive!

I found the DT 1990s and the Woo WA 2 to be made for each other.

Now that you have spent some time listening with your Evo 300 I would love to hear your impressions.

I am curious as to why your numbers are so much different than the ones that I listed.

I hope this question is appropriate in this forum. When selling an amplifier is it best to list as a package including multiple sets of NOS tubes or to sell items separately? What do you think? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. My upcoming move and retirement will necessitate a change from having separate speaker and headphone systems to an all in one. One consideration is the EVO, probably just the 100. Since I posted this thread, I had a chance to spend an hour or so with a EVO 200 at a nearby...

Anyone know the going rate for NOS Chatham 6as7g and Tung Sol 7236 tubes? I bought some several years ago, I have been looking around but I'm not seeing any on the market at this time.

I have been using my 1990s with my Woo WA2 for some time now and continue to be thrilled. I also favor the analytical pads. Of course my tube preferences will be of no use to you. I previously owned a WA6, not SE, and I would enjoy checking out the DT1990/WA6SE combination.
