Photos look great! How would you describe the fit in your ears with them being so big? Have you tried them with any custom foam tips(Comply etc)?

Same here, they give me a perfect seal every time, be in the winter or the summer, no difference :)   Much, much better than silicone tips. Havent tried other foam tips though.

My sennheiser IE80 finally broke unrepairably last week (Its now only holding together by glue).   I might have found my replacement!

I got 20% off my next purchase, so I'm happy it got resolved this easy. Also bought some new comply foam tips :)

After 7 months my replacementcable from custom-cable.co.uk broke :( Still very keen on my IE80's so I'm getting new cables, but pretty dissapointed they broke so quickly even though I'm always very careful with them.... It seems something broke or is lose inside the 3mm jack, when I press it...

Sound quality wise I dont hear any difference. But it has been a while since I used my IE80s so I need to give it a few more days. But so far so good. As for the thickness, one might find a less stiff cable better, the other finds it annoying. I dont have equipment to really objectively test...
