Altec Lansing UHP306 Earphones?..
They look like UE Metro.Fi 2 - terrible sound for me, mids almost non-existent. Maybe I had broken pair, or something ... but they sounded really bad.- coolperl

s-JAYS review coming soon!
Try them with different sources from neutral/bright (iPod) to bassy (Sony, Cowon)... or whatever you have or can borrow. An amp is also welcome. But don't judge, after listening to one source.- coolperl

re2 or ck7?
CK7 has titanium alloy enclosure, not steel. They indeed sound very good, especially if you have warm and bassy source. On the other hand, the soundstage of CK7 is not so big, FWIR RE2 have far bigger soundstage.- coolperl

News: dual drivers, 5 flanged IEM from Teac
They probably sound like crap, since 7 months after release, there's no reviews and discussions here (apart from this little thread). Besides the words "dual armature" and "new" works like "honey pot" to head-fi/hi-fi world. If no one has them already (or maybe has, but there's nothing to rave...- coolperl

Denon AHC700 vs. Monster Turbine or Phonak Audeo?
If you're looking for an IEM that will let you ANALYZE music, then Phonak is a good choice. If you just want to enjoy your music, keep saving for IE8 or IE7.- coolperl

prog rock IEM under 75 €
You should be able to hunt down Denon C751 on british eBay. They're very often below 70E. If eBay is not an option, go for C551. Very nice for prog, especially when you have such bright and bass-shy source like Nano 3g.- coolperl

ATH-CK7 Portable Amping
Yep, I agree. The CK7 sounds very good unamped. They're low impedance, easy to drive ...so they won't benefit much from an amp.- coolperl

Best earphones for DNB-ish music? (budget: around 100€)
Future Sonics Atrio M5 (or M8) ...according to a LOT of opinions here, or Denons C700 (or 751). Both known from good bass. I own the second ones and the bass and treble are indeed very nice.- coolperl

Bose in ear headphones?????
Ipod Touch is light on bass. Phonak is not a good headphone for it. At least, if you like full, warm and neutral sound. With Touch, I guess they'll be quite analytical with small bass quantity.- coolperl

IEM Quest atrio/rf5/phonak looking for advice
What's your DAP ? If it's bright/neutral sounding (like i.e iPod Touch) take something with good bass (atrio). If the DAP is dark and bassy (i.e Cowon D2) take some bright headphones (Etymotic/ Phonak). Also, take a look at Q-Jays. They have similiar to Etymotic, sound signature, but better...- coolperl

Don't own Fiio e5, so cannot tell for sure. But I guess they'll benefit too, from this little amp.- coolperl
