Hifiman 801 Appreciation thread
So game module is not needed for IEMs I assume? Am considering picking one up at the FS section but I use mostly IEMs so I'm wondering if there will potentially be hiss if I were to get a 801 without the game module. Thanks. Quote:- Communism

Quote: So looking forward to the launch though. Prefer the physical keys on this compared to the touchscreen on the dx100. Hopefully, SQ between the 2 is close then I'll be grabbing this without a doubt. HiFiMan give us an update on the 802! :)- Communism

Why is this not out yet?! Isn't this slated for release May 2012? Why is there no updates or news or hype on this new DAP?- Communism

Meier Audio Quickstep (also Stepdance and 2Stepdance) Discussion and Impressions Thread
Quote: If I were to get the 71B, I will reterminate my cables to balanced(lined out from my iMod) so it means additional cost on top of the already expensive 71B. 2SD is great but it looks really bulky, as compared to the relatively more slender looking 71B. I've read Skylab's...- Communism

iPod Classic 7G 240GB
I read that the 5g is unable to take the 240gb while the 5.5 is able to. Also, is the included backplate in that package sufficient to accomodate the hdd or do I have to get another? Any explanation for that and what happens if I use it on my 5g anyway? Thanks. Quote:- Communism
