    Fiio E11 vs. Electric Avenue PA2V2 ???

Quote:   Thanks for the info. If guess if you're buying an E11, it's mainly for portable use. That extra bulkyness of the PA2V2 wouldn't be worth it to me.

BeyerDynamic DT770 vs. BeyerDynamic DT880 vs. Denon D2000 - Can't Decide Please Help!!

Quote:   If that's the case, then i would definitely consider the DT770's over the M50's. They just sound so much better with these genre's IMHO.     Quote:   I have the 250Ohm version without an amp. They sound absolutely fantastic, and heard they sound even better with an...

BeyerDynamic DT770 vs. BeyerDynamic DT880 vs. Denon D2000 - Can't Decide Please Help!!

Quote: A few weeks ago I purchased a pair of ATH-M50's as my first good set of cans. I spent quite a while on the net researching them, and there was SO much hype about how great they were for everything and how well they performed as an all-around flat response headphone. I received them...

    Dubstep for the House fan?

Well, if you like most mainstream music (which both deadmau5 and Wolfgang Gartner are), than a good place to start would be here:   http://www.ezzamusic.com/2011/05/top-10-youtube-channels-for-awesome.html   I'd say your first step would be listening around the internet for a while and...

    How to organize FLAC files?

Try programs like  Winamp, Foobar, or MediaMonkey. Of course you would have to fetch the album art yourself if you haven't already. I don't believe either of those programs do it for you, unless you download an extension to do so.

Quote:        I KNOW right!? There's so many people who strut these around it's getting to the point where people who know nothing about headphones respond with "Oh like Dre. Beats?" when you mention 'good' headphones. It's sort of upsetting.         It's not even like they are...

    Advice for headphone

That looks like a very nice piece of hardware. I'm not overly familiar with AMP/DAC combos that have the optical in lines for PS3. If I were you, just continue researching the forums and I'm sure you'll find something to accommodate your needs! Best of luck!

    Advice for headphone

I think you have the wrong idea here. In simple terms; the "Ohm" rating you see on the headphones is the combined Resistance, Inductance and Capacitance of the headphone's voice coil. Generally, the higher this number, the more power it takes to drive the headphones and push them to their max...

Yes, the cable for the HD650 is detachable, and interchangeable. There's a few threads here on Head-Fi regarding cables for the HD650. Use the search button at the top of the page to find them, or take a look at this thread below; http://www.head-fi.org/t/88712/best-cable-for-sennheiser-hd-650...

    AMP Suggestions For DT770 Pro 250 < $100

Well i'm in school, so I always have my laptop on me (my university requires it). I carry it it around in my bag form class to class. The thing is, I would only be listening to my headphones on my laptop when I'm studying or when I'm in my room. Never in class. For on-the-go...

    AMP Suggestions For DT770 Pro 250 < $100

Quote: Thank you for the recommendation. I'm still not quite sure whether i should be looking at a DAC/AMP combo like the E10 or a more portable standalone amp like the E11. The thing is, I use my headphones 80% + of the time on my little laptop. Since my laptop has a crappy integrated...
