Does anyone know where I can get replacement pads for the ATH-AD2000 or do any other pads fit them (W5000? potentially?). Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I sent in a PPX3 to upgrade to a SLAM. He did not upgrade the first tube but instead promised a tube adapter. To date I have not seen this adapter even after continually reminding him. So the SLAM is not really a SLAM.

Are you using the same tubes for the left and right channel? Try to use 3 of the same tubes. If that doesn't solve the issue then change your source. If the left and right levels are ok again then you know it is the source. If not then there's an issue with the amp. I never had an imbalance of...

There also used to be a thread specifically for 6CG7 tubes in the PPX. It compared various sound signature of tube combinations. Does anyone remember that thread?

Good post above. The third tube - the one in the front is the main tube (gain). This affects the sound the most. The other 2 are for your left and right channel. So by switching out the gain tube you will hear the most amount of difference. I believe the amp came with 3 RCA tubes. Try them...

You'd probably be looking at a Sony Ericsson P910 or P990. The P910 has everything you want except a high resolution camera. The P990 comes with a 2MP camera. And it runs off Symbian so you can easily expand it. I had the P800 and loved it and never needed another PDA.
