Fwiw, I have the Lyr+ and both the Bifrost 2 and 2/64. I prefer the former with the Lyr+ (RCA graphite 6SN7GT) and the latter with my all tube integrated amp and speakers. I lean towards liking a warm sound.

My parents had a more modern, less rococo, looking console unit like that, on which I first listened to albums and FM. Even years later, it still sounded good. Tubes of course. Happy New (tube) Year!
